UPCOMING EVENTS
Christmas Caroling
We will be going to Providence Place this Wednesday, Dec 7 during our regular church service to sing to the residents. It is always blessing to minister to those who are no longer able to get around. We will leave the church parking lot at 6:30. Please sign up in the upper foyer if you are able to join us and whether you will drive yourself or go in the church van.
Special Thanks!
To Anna, Marlene and Lee for putting together 160 gift bags for the residents at Providence Place on Wednesday. And also thanks to Chris and June for putting together the gift bags for our ROCK children’s Christmas party. Many hands make for light work.
BODY NEWS
Congratulations!
To Jen & Tyler Landis on the birth of their new baby girl, Evie! She entered the world on Nov 27 at 11:48 am. Weighing in at 7lb 13oz and 19 3/4” . Proud grandparents are Chad & Angel Landis and Bob & Kim Messner!
New Life for Girls Christmas Blessing
There is a table outside the nursery with a list of items that the New Life Girls are in need of. If you would like to bless them this year, please take a copy of their list and bring the gift back UNWRAPPED and we will deliver them in time for Christmas! Thank you in advance! Deadline for drop-off is Dec. 11! There is a table in the downstairs foyer (not outside nursery).
Ministry Opportunities
Please see Pastor Jeff or Anna if you are interested in serving the Lord in a ministry at Dover Assembly!
Still Needed:
- Toddlers – during worship service Sunday mornings – we need one more ‘team of 2’
- Toddlers – during Wednesday evening church service – we could use 2 more volunteers
- R.O.C.K. Wednesdays – we could use 2 more volunteers.
- Meal Ministry – Diane heads up this ministry and could use a few more volunteers / this also includes funeral service meals
- Shut-ins – Murina heads up this ministry and if you are interested in visiting shut-ins, please see Anna
- Outdoor Signage – we could use one or two volunteers
Prayer & Fast Nights
A reminder that Pastor Jeff and Dover Assembly have prayer and fast nights in the Sanctuary on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month. Please join us! The Lord is doing great things! Items of specific prayer include:
- Salvations of Loved ones, family, friends.(2 Peter 3:9)
- Revival
- Church property that the township wants to take. The battle belongs to the Lord!

Please continue to pray for those of our church family who are no longer able to join us for worship.

Church Cookbook
Ladies! And Gents too! Get those recipes together! We are going to work on putting together a church cookbook with all your favorite recipes. Please turn them in to Anna. If you would like to be on the ‘cookbook committee’ please see Anna
Mailboxes
The mailboxes are up and ready for Christmas Cards! If you would like to leave a Christmas Card for church family, you can place them in the mailboxes. There is a numbered sheet listing all the members of our church. Please note that the numbers have changed slightly from last year. If you did not receive a box and would like to, please see Pastor Jeff. If we missed you or if we have an incorrect spelling of your name, our apologies. Please let Pastor or Anna know.
