BODY NEWS

S.O.S. DINNER OUT
Ladies, join us this Fri Oct. 10th 6:00 p.m. as we meet at Friendly’s Restaurant on RT 30. It is sure to be a time of great fun and fellowship and of course, ice cream! Last day to sign up.  Meet at Friendlies at 6:00 pm.

S.O.S. Cookie Exchange – Fri., Nov. 21
Please sign-up in the upper foyer if you are attending and write down what type of cookies you will bring. Please be sure the cookies are homemade. Please bring 2 dozen cookies; some to exchange and some to sample! We will have games, coffee and cookies and a gift for each lady who attends.

IN REMEMBRANCE
There are sympathy cards and get well cards on a table near the platform with cards you can sign for the families of the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and the two officers recovering. Any donations you can give will be appreciated. We will provide this to the families of these officers.

Youth Convention
Please keep Josiah and Sierra and the teens in your prayers as they attend Youth Convention this upcoming weekend. Thank you for all your support for our teens throughout the year to make convention possible for them!  The Teens will be meeting at 11:00 AM at church to head to the convention.

Christmas is Coming!
Christmas Shoe Boxes – you will notice we have the Christmas Shoe Boxes out and ready for anyone who wishes to take one. Please add $10 to the box to cover postage. Please return shoe boxes by mid-November so we can get these delivered in time for Christmas.

   Thank you to Kris who has done a great job of leading our worship team. Kris is taking some time off in this season of life but will still be helping with song selections, etc.  Thank you Kris.  We appreciate your faithfulness and dedication!

   Thank you to Jen who will be stepping away from the worship team for a while.  Jen will be teaching in the Toddler Nursery during Sunday morning church service.  We need one more volunteer to minister in the Toddler Nursery so Jen can sit in the service on the months she is not scheduled in Toddler Nursery.   You will alternate months as Toddler Nursery teachers.  Please see Anna if this is you!
